By centralizing data from legacy systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Dayforce HRM into a data warehouse, System Pavers, with the help of Epoc Labs, connected customer and design consultant data on a single platform and leveraged DOMO’s Magic ETL to automate reporting and deliver on-demand insights.

System Pavers, a leading outdoor living company specializing in turf, pavers, and patio installations, runs hundreds of projects each month through its network of 300+ design consultants. Each consultant earns based on four defined milestones – Deposit, Material Order, Job Start, and Final. With customer payments linked to these milestones, tracking commissions was complex and inconsistent.

The finance team relied on manual spreadsheets to connect project payments with consultant payouts. Reconciling customer invoices across systems meant errors, delays, and rework. Consultants had little insight into what they were owed, leading to confusion and repeated inquiries. The growing number of projects only amplified the problem.

Building a connected data foundation

Epoc Labs helped centralize data from legacy systems and Microsoft  Dynamics 365, standardizing project and payment structures across branches. A SQL Server data warehouse became the single source of truth, integrating real-time feeds from both Dynamics and Ceridian Dayforce for payroll. Using DOMO Magic ETL, payment data was automatically mapped to project milestones and consultant assignments.

Every transaction could now be tracked from payment to payout with precise calculations.
